Neoncromancer exhibits his own unique style of hard-hitting industrial dark-synth in a ground-breaking first album. Chip-tune and metal influences synergize with neon-filled beats in a way that will really get inside your head. Favorite track: Big Boss.

FLESH MECHANIC
Neoncromancer is definitely one of the most unique artists to emerge this year. His blend of chiptune, synthwave and metal (SIDwave?) captures the spirit of all three elements. When I first heard this album, I thought to myself "where is the game to this soundrack?". And if you think chiptune music can't sound epic, you're in for a huge surprise here. I'm very excited for future material, as there absolutely has to be some. This is too good to be a one-and-done case.
Favorite track: Composer Disposer.

G-Prime The synth gods have been kind to us this year, and this artist is yet another blessing they have graciously bestowed upon us.

That album cover is designed to catch your attention, and its contents do not disappoint. This is top-notch darksynth that seamlessly integrates both chiptune and electrometal elements to create impressive soundscapes easily on the same level as Battlejuice or Electric Dragon. It's earned every fucking pixel of that kickass cover art. Favorite track: Your Prince Is in This Castle.
